SoL Crespo: Piano, vocals, songwriting, arrangements

In 2005 SoL Crespo wins 2° prize at contest "Jazz Voices" in Argentina, and 3° prize as Music Performer, Urban Music, "Premios Octubre". Same year, SoL Crespo Trio plays at Jazz International Fest -La Plata with the Jazz Trio that she leads as performer, arranger and composer of most of the repertoire . In 2007 SoL lived in London, UK, where she played at Bolivar Hall, for ACALASP, The Montague on the Gardens, Forest Hill Tavern, etc,  and gave private lessons of piano and singing; in 2009 she travelled twice to perform in Haugesund, Norway.

In 2008, 2017 and 2019 her project is selected for "Bares Notables de Buenos Aires".

In 2009, Sol wins 1st Award at "Premio Raíces-Opera Singer". In 2010, she won it again, and she became one of the judges of that Award.

Jazz radio show “Sinestesia” (Radio Eter) dedicates an issue to SoL and her music (2009)

SoL played at Centro Cultural Adan Buenosayres  (“Bandas X Barrios” program, Buenos Aires Governement, 2012). Culture City Council declares the project of our first album "Sutra!” as a Good of Cultural Interest, financing it through Ley de Mecenazgo (a patronage law, 2013). In 2013-2014 SoL played and sung at Golden Princess Cruise, from Los Angeles to Rio de Janeiro. She performed thrice (2014 to 2016) at "Sotano Beat", Centro Cultural San Martín. Sept 2015: SoL presents the just released album "Sutra" as a special-acoustic showcase and interview (Radio show "Tunel 57"), following radio presence at "Despierto por el Mundo" (Julio Lagos, Radio El Mundo), "Radiomontaje" (Jazz), "Acústicotelam" (Telam), "Jazz & Cash", "Amigos del Jazz Argentino" etc, and several times at Sandy Letham's Jazz Show (UK)

The formal presentation of the album was in Dec 18th, 2015, at Borges 1975 (Buenos Aires), featuring  â€‹Alejandro Yaques, Fede Elías, Rafael Delgado Espinoza, Rosario Baeza, Laila Straimel, among others. SoL performed in October 2016 and February 2017 at Germany,  January 2017 at Switzerland, and now she has moved to Germany, where she is very active at the jazz scene.

Although SoL has many recordings as a session musician, she released her first formal album, "Sutra!", on September 2015, and now she are playing that mostly original material. On August 2016 it was the premier of "Sutra!, the Documental"

What is different about SoL Crespo Trio, perhaps, is an approach free of prejudice. This, and the versatility and solid background of their musicians, makes its language enriched with traditional jazz, soul, jazz fusion, latin, afro, folklore, pop, jungle music, even elements from academic music, living together in total harmony, and flowing between songs in spanish, portuguese, or english with great naturalness.
